Hexlock is a strategic puzzle game that requires you to make patterns with triangles. With 5 unique game modes and over 40 different themes to choose from, Hexlock is limitless fun! Plus, leaderboards add an extra level of competition between the best of the best! A fresh take on classic puzzle-style gameplay, Hexlock has something to offer for everyone.
CLASSIC MODE
In this version of the game, you will be presented with an arrangement of triangles of different colors in the shape of a hexagon. Your goal is to match this pattern with the triangles in the field on your screen. The faster you solve the pattern, the more points you get. Patterns become increasingly more difficult as your score increases while the time you have to solve them shrinks. The game ends when you run out of time 3 times.
HARDCORE MODE
Like classic mode, you will be presented with an arrangement of triangles of different colors in the shape of a hexagon. But the patterns are chaotic and must be solved in short time frames. There is not much room for error: the games ends when you run out of time once.
SPRINT MODE
The sprint game mode is the ultimate test of dexterity. In this mode, you must get as many points as possible by solving hexagon patterns (exactly as in the classic and hardcore modes) before the 2 minute clock is exhausted. Points are awarded based on your solve speed.
TIMED MODE
Like the sprint game mode, the timed game mode will truly test your dexterity. This time, you will have to score 10,000 points by solving hexagon patterns as quickly as you can. Once again, points are awarded based on your solve speed.
SNAKE MODE
The snake game mode radically differs from the other game modes. In this mode, you are given a string of triangles of different colors and a number corresponding to the amount of repetitions you must create. Instead of forming hexagons with the triangles, you form chains of triangles in the exact order shown by the pattern, snaking the chain around the board until you’ve solved the pattern.
